Rockin' the River Free Concert Series

Grab your blanket and chairs and come out for a free concert along the River. This all- ages event is a great way to spend a warm summer evening.  Come early and grab a bite or beverage in one of the many Downtown Wilkes-Barre locations or stay for a late night snack after the event. Food trucks and beverage area will also be available. 

 We hope to see our community come together for this great event!

Yellow Brick Road, A Tribute to Elton John, from Augusta Maine. very detail of an actual Elton John concert is presented in such a way  that will have Elton John fans screaming for more!



MiZ is an Americana / Roots Rock artist from Northeast Pennsylvania known for masterful guitar playing, well-crafted songwriting, and powerful and energetic live performances.

The National Reserve mine an archetypal musical seam, marrying gutbucket R&B, Laurel Canyon lyricism, New Orleans funk workouts, late night soul, and bluesy, boozy rock ‘n’ roll to create their own timeless brand of American music.

The most accurate 7-piece tribute to Dave Matthews Band in the world. There’s dozens of DMB cover bands, but only one real tribute band - A Proud Monkey.


Grab a snack at one the food trucks or arrive early and stay late to dine at one of the many Downtown dining options.  SBC Brewing Company will host a beverage area. Must be 21 to purchase alcoholic beverages.

A first aid station along with portable restrooms will be available. The parking map highlights the numerous available locations. Handicap parking will be provided across from he Millennium Circle next to Jonathan's restaurant. LCTA is offering complimentary bus service to the Intermodal, just a short walk away, beginning at 5 p.m. until midnight. Spend the night Downtown without the worries of driving.
