The Film & Discussion Series, which is open to the public, consists of five movies, including pre-film lectures and stimulating post-film discussions. The series can be taken as a one-credit course or as a non-credit offering. Participants earn continuing education credits upon completion of the series.

Continuing Education is pleased to have Bill Bachman return as the instructor for the movie series. Bill has taught a variety of communications courses for Penn State Wilkes-Barre since 1986. He currently teaches introduction to public speaking, public speech writing, mass media and society, propaganda and persuasion, and media effects.

[Educators please note: the one-credit course is approved for thirty Act 48 hours. The non-credit offering may be be eligible for Act 48 hours pending the approval of your school district or intermediate unit; the process for each school district or intermediate unit may vary, so you may want to check with your district or unit prior to registering for the non-credit program.]

If you have a program-related question or would like to be added to our mailing list to receive information on the next Film & Discussion Series, please email wbce@outreach.psu.edu or call 570-675-9253.
