LIFE'S PASSIONS: A Richard L. Derby Exhibit

Please join Richard on opening night -- Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 5:00PM - 8:00PM -- for wine, hors d'oeuvres, conversation, and laughs. Parking is available in our lot and on side streets.

The show can also be seen during gallery hours (Tuesdays-Saturdays, 10:30AM - 5:00PM) through October 31, 2023.

Richard Derby’s love of art emerged when he was in high school. His passion flourished through his studies and attainment of a Bachelor of Arts degree in fine arts from Wilkes College (now Wilkes University) in 1971.

Derby taught art in the Lake-Lehman School District for 35 years. He now dedicates his time to painting favorite things – florals and Nantucket seascapes – in both oil and acrylic paints.

Derby’s paintings have been exhibited in Northeastern Pennsylvania venues: Conyngham Gallery at Wilkes College, Doris Fordham Gallery, MainStreet Galleries, Misericordia University, Sordoni Art Gallery at Wilkes University, and Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory School.
