About the Trail

• Back Mountain Trail was originally built by lumber and ice king Albert Lewis of Wyoming Valley 115 years ago and was acquired by the Lehigh Valley Railroad in 1887.
• The trailheads are located top of Perry Street in Luzerne or the corner of Carverton Road and 309 in Trucksville.
